We roasted the eggplant and fennel in the oven tonight for dinner. I should have taken pics. Im a fennel noob this is like the third time I've had it. Sliced fennel and bell peppers. good pitted olives and large butter beans in a baking pan. bunch of olive oil. Bone in chicken on top. bake it and put a bunch of dried oregano on the chicken skin once its cooked. I could be more descriptive but you get the point. Salt and other things etc. Ho comprato l'anatra. (I've bought the duck.)  |

Fennel, onions, garlic, green pepper, fava beans, black and green olives, salt pepper and oil with a dry rubbed duck on top stuffed with lemon and salt

Day trip!  Rabbit pie! Delicious. I didnt know what to expect inside like if there would be veggies and broth but it was british style mince meat. You could actually eat this on the go with just your hands. Spiced perfect and slightly juicy.  Dessert case! |
