 Malta!  Chocolate District (*not actual district, just the shop name) I thought there would be many buildings and the walls would be made of chocolate.  Gourmet coffee. They have a chocolate fountain that they make drinks with.  Nenu the Baker's. App bread with a cold garlic chickpea dip.  Eggplant with arugula, fig paste, walnut, and honey. A+ Maltese bread with marrows, peppers, olives and cheese. I thought it would be bone marrow but apparently that's another word for zucchini and squash. Crust was perfect. And caponata with pepper 🌶 and citrus? pesto?  Main course bread  Steamed beef  Fish stew with pastry crust. Had a sweet and kind of nutty flavor.  Roasted rabbit, a traditional Maltese dish. A+ |

Well that was fun. Driving on the left side of the road in the right side of the car, snorkeling with a thousand fish, visiting an ancient megalithic temple from 3600 BCE, eating of course, and relaxing. I found someone's wedding ring in the sea by the ladder off the deck and I turned it in to the hotel desk because it had an inscription S♡P (shart p?). Paid for some drinks and tips with casino winnings. Went to the ancient walled city of Mdina where they filmed Game of Thrones. Malta is fantastic, and most everyone speaks English because tourism is big and it used to British territory. I put my hand on a stone shaped by man over 5600 years ago. It was poignant.

 We hit up the rotisserie place to get a whole chicken but they were out of them for the day so we sat outside on the street and had lunch. Pork chops, rice, potatoes and bacon wrapped green onions. |
