Hit up da Enzo. This is probably the best restaurant in Rome, not that I'm an expert but man everything was delicious.  I forget what this was but it slapped  stuffed zucc flowers with anchovy or maybe sardine  Carbonara. This is the gold standard. The pork was outstanding; tender with a crispy edge  Another one of the four classic Roman pasta dishes  gnocchi with mussels  Cacio e pepe Thats it for us. Arreviderce! |

What was the wine scene like? Fill up your own bottle stations? This photo used to hang on the wall of the pizza parlor/italian restaurant near me as a kid. Love that photo for some reason. The girls look impressed.  |

Did you try the horse meat ? soon. We are stocked up for the moment. Nothing is loaded with preservatives so we're probably going to end up shopping every 2 days for meat. Gotta finish the salami first. |

Landlord said her favorite horse burger is the one coated in pistachios. I'm lusting after that tomahawk steak but we dont have a grill so I might do that ish in the oven....

I don't know about the horse meat and definitely a hard no on the eggplant. Horses are like sharks and somehow I put them in a different group in my mind that I don't want to eat. Weirdo, I know.
