Williamson's problem/challenge isn't just her lack of media traction or interest in seeing her get the nomination, it's that unlike Bernie (who faced those same challenges) she's not (as of yet?) able to build a popular movement, gain substantial support, and overcome those challenges like Bernie was able to do. She needs a base, not just random support here and there from Never Trumpers who are looking for a viable, more palatable option to uninspiring Biden.
But it's still early. Maybe she'll catch fire with younger progressives and pick up where Bernie left off. At least with her there's a chance because as of now it looks like any other potential challenger to Biden is deferring to him out of respect or tradition to not challenge the incumbent. Maybe she's playing the long game and raising her profile now for a run in '28 when the Dem field will be more open?

At least Marianne Williamson appears to want to do things that help the american people. Whether she would or not if she got elected is a different story. Joe Biden has proven that he won't fight for shit. He wants us to believe that he's just getting his political ass kicked all over the place, when if fact things are playing out just as he and his donors want.

She ran in the beginning for 2020, too. I’ve followed her work for years. I thought it was a wild jump when she wanted to run for President but I love her ideals. I’ll have to go back and watch the videos. Thanks for sharing  |

Of course Trump is the worst case scenario but this isn't a third party situation. Marianne is running in the democratic primary and imo has a better chance of beating trump than Biden. You forget this is 'Merica! An we ain't fixin to let some liberal lesbian hippiebbaby killer, Progressive on letting people of color, disabilities etc... have a say in all we do, no sir reee she caint do anything but cook dinner, pop out babies, and be a submissive disciple to her man And you talkin running her for president? APPLEBEEEEES! I think there is something to this. See Hillary Clinton. Not because of her ideology. Simply because she's a woman. They won't say it out loud, that they are bias, but I have no doubt that there were a substantial number of men who voted for Biden, but couldn't vote for Hillary and possibly went with Trump. It's fucking horrible, but that is the sad reality. That is no reason not to vote for Williamson. I just think she has a slim chance in the general against a Trump or DeSantis. Sad really, but it is what it is. |
