Thatโs awesome! I hope you find some good stuff. Thatโs so exciting
I was all excited that a record store was opening closer to me and then they announced that they had a change of plans and wonโt be opening. Bummer.

I spent well over an hour in there. I left with 4 albums. Two more than I told myself I could buy.
Iron & Wine - The Shepherd's Dog and NIN - Broken(2016 180g remaster) are new. The Shepherd's Dog is a great album and I can't wait to hear all the nuances on the vinyl. The nin was a nostalgia purchase. I had the cassette tape in 8th grade and really want to hear this remaster. I paid more than I wanted to for this one. The other two are old used ones. Hoodoo Rhythm Devils, which I'm completely unfamiliar with and the Survivors live. Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins in Germany. Looks awesome. Marty Stuart is on it too.

Broken is worth the $30 and it's only one side. I kind of freaked out when I looked at the second side and there was just a scribbling around it.

DBT - A Blessing and A Curse arrived today. I'm so sold on the vinyl. This sounds so good. The bass is low and the treble's clear, to borrow the line. You can hear the tremelo on the guitar so well. The drums are clean. Just great.
I also haven't listened to this one as much and it's been a while. Dig the Isbell tunes.

The Dirty South is a monster and a masterpiece. Every rock and roll collection should have that album.

There were two phish, both apparently bootlegs. The one with Santana is from New Orleans 94 and the other one was from 99. I'm not sure if those are worth purchasing because I don't know how they're going to sound.

I finally chased down the Brighter Than Creations Dark down. I'm pretty disappointed with the pops on this one. Both discs are noisy, but the second one is pretty bad. It's a consistent pop throughout on both sides and I'm afraid it's a pressing defect. Has no one else every experienced this with a brand new vinyl? I'm reading how brand new vinyl can be pretty dirty from the manufacturing process. I think I'll just invest in a cleaning machine.
*And anti static sleeves.

My favorite albums of there are Aguia noa come mosce and Light as a feather. Bass player guy is a boss. Also there's a fat guy on drums who really brings it. You don't see many fat drummers out there I can't even think of one right now besides Ivan Conti, and he isn't even that fat.

I always hear about how dirty new vinyl is but pretty much everything I've bought sealed has sounded great right off the bat. Cleaning records is a pain, I just use a dust brush it's a lot easier. www.amazon.com/Record-Cleaner-Kit-Complete-4/dp/B07DVSTBXM/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3RLMEKLK208VN&keywords=big+fudge&qid=1648137300&sprefix=big+fudge%2Caps%2C75&sr=8-4

Won a copy of Soul Slabs 2 in a waffle and have been spinning that the past couple days. Stoked to now have all three volumes, great compilations from Colemine Records
