If vanity plates represent triple dollar signs to you, that's kind of sad. Google says Oregon vanity plates are a whole $50 plus the $24 plate fee. Big dollars.

I would love an extra 10k to play around with.. But the car gets so much positive reception and is such a pleasureto drive... If i keep this and dump a bunch of money into another wagon .. Ill have 3 cars... Any more than that would seem a bit much.

I think the low ballers you consider to be no ballers really are people who are smart enough to be aware of the KBB value of 30+ year old car with close to 200k miles and aren't going to be #rippedoff by paying anywhere near your asking price.

If they wanted to spend that much on such an old, high mileage car, they'd probably just start from scratch and restore it to their own specifications instead of paying someone else to recoup the money they put into their restoration hobby. They probably own their own houses or can afford to rent their own apartments as well.

Losing money on hobbies ain't a big deal, but you should plan on keeping the car to at least get your money out of it by enjoying it. Dropping money into a hobby and then abandoning it, hoping to recoup your costs, isn't all that realistic. Keep the car, spud. Or you should've bought what you really wanted and restored that. Or if you really are a baller, sell at a loss and start all over. We all know you can afford to drop an extra fifty on vanity plates.
