this kind of sucks for the Olympics. Russia is always in the top 3 (maybe top 5) for medal count every winter Olympic. I get they deserve to be punished...but damn this could hurt the competitiveness of some of the events.
And no i am not Russian...I root for the Ukranians!

i'm not convinced that they were the only ones cheating...they are just the only ones that got caught.
Regardless, I think their absence hurts the competition just a tad. Either way, I love the Olympics and can't wait to watch!

Russia is kinda fucked up. Putin made out like a bandit on Sochi. All that money given to him and his country for infrastructure that he never used. But then again its kinda smart because all those arena's rinks, and indoor coliseums just end up rotting away after the crowd leaves.
