Minnesota traded for a second first rounder and the speculation is that it's to bundle together with their first and move up to take a QB. Doesn't seem like Chicago or Washington is going to do that. Maybe the Pats? If not, I find it kind of crazy if they did this to move up and get McCarthy.

Mccarthy reminds me of Alex Smith 2.0. smart, cerebral QB, proven winner, but never wows you with his play. i feel like his pre-draft rise has been based on his ability to not fuck up playing QB for the best team in college last year.
