We're putting pieces together to where the team should be better. However now all the pressure is on that kid to come in and ball out

Having fields there could of made for a competition in camp. And then. A better story if Fields keeps playing mediocre to shitty, rook comes in and plays bad to mediocre and shows the future has a chance to is bright for the monsters of the midway
Now it's rook better play his balls off, or you're goin down in history as Trevor simian or whoever da fug is iur qb having to come in and replace you

The trade of Fields was not about the Bears getting a haul or fleecing a team, it was about doing right by Fields, and I have a ton of respect for Poles about that. It came out that Poles had better offer for JF1 but they were with teams that had much more established starting QB's and Poles wanted him in the best situation possible. It's my understanding that JF1 wanted to go to Pit.
I'm all for the trade and glad it happened, I hope for nothing but the best from Fields and I would have been more ok with the Bears keeping him if their situation was even slightly different.
